It is too bad the posts do not remain time stamped permanently so we can get an even better idea of the breakneck pace.

Embersong was a huge part of the threads early days. She was poetic, articulate and above all passionate and she helped many to cross the 1st post threshold.

I would like to point out that camp passion went through some rough patches which are evident if you keep reading. I do not at all see the thread through rose colored glasses but I do chose to continue to define it by its original intentions as these seem to epitomize the innocence and simplicity with which many of us came to these boards.terocioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07397441938526847939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6479486285558251105.post-84352016917387033122008-08-23T02:40:00.000-04:002008-08-23T02:40:00.000-04:00Brilliant choice, terocious! What I saw was a journal of many rangers, fighting for Jericho's second season. I copied some of the things I saw there - I was very struck by embersong's posts. She picked up jerk-o-cbs's original thread and ran with it. One post of many touched me, and I will post it here as it is as relevant today as it was a bit over a year ago:

embersong May 22,2007

“…Let’s all try to keep moving forward, but not so fast that we run over anyone. This is a movement, not a stampede. Everybody counts!...”

I think if anyone needs a remedial on why we do this, why you are even still involved in this, why don't I just walk away for good... I suggest reading this thread from page 1 forward. I think you'll see a bit of yourself there with all those Rangers from last year. I sure plan on using this thread as my inspiration and my guidebook! Thank you again for making me reflect on others reflections :-)

NightShadeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
